Saviour of All Fellowship
April 2004

Dear Friends in Faith,
This was Dean’s outline for one of his talks at the Grand Rapids fellowship:

God Saviour

At the recently held conference in Grand Rapids hosted by Orville Hunt, we had a wonderful time of fellowship and teaching. Orville spoke of being “persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers, nor sovereignties, nor the present, nor what is impending, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord” (Rom.8:38,39). He then set about showing us that there is more working against us than we realize. For instance, he spoke of Satan and being “overreached by Satan” (2 Cor.2:11), the deep things of Satan (Rev.2:24), and how that the serpent deluded Eve (2 Cor.ll:3). We need the “whole armor of God.”
Dean spoke on what is written above in this newsletter. I (Tony) spoke on Philippians and our walk in accord with the evangel. Paul told us to “Be rejoicing in the Lord always! Again, I will declare, be rejoicing! Let your lenience (inclined not to be harsh; merciful or indulgent. 2. Not austere or strict American Heritage Dictionary) be known to all men: the Lord is near. Do not WORRY about anything, but in everything by prayer (toward-well-having) and petition (BINDing) with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning (protect as with a military force) your hearts and your apprehensions (mental perceptions) in Christ Jesus. . . these be putting into practice and the God of peace will be with you” (Phil.4:4-9).
Don Bast gave a rather stirring personal testimony of his life and how that God dealt with him and his wife Marja. He chronicled every step of the way. I’m sure that the messengers have been peering down to see God at work in their lives and learning of God’s wisdom.
We are currently updating our web site at http://www.saviourofall.org by installing the latest years of the newsletter. This way foreign people who otherwise may not get the hard copy of the newsletter can access them.

As noted in our last letter, our friends in Richmond, Virginia are sponsoring a weekend of fellowship on April 2-4. We here in Almont are also hosting a day of fellowship on Saturday, April 17 at the Tom Hough home, 7170 Hough Rd., from 11:00 to 4:00.
Other special times of fellowship coming up will be held in Kitchener, Ontario on May 8 and Willard Ohio on June 11-13.

Yours in God’s grace and peace,
Dean Hough and Tony Nungesser
